AASK: Problems with Seat Belts

• "He first thought it [the seatbelt] operated like the one in his car--a centre push button in the buckle to release".

• "His seat was upright and intact but it took him an estimated 5 or 6 seconds to determine how to release his seatbelt"

• "He had difficulty releasing his seatbelt because his hands were burned."

• "She was unable to open her seatbelt because the buckle was too hot to touch".

• "The dense dark smoke prevented him from seeing his seatbelt and he erroneously tugged on his large metal belt buckle".
