• SMARTFIRE attempts to address this issue through a user friendly interface which makes uses of artificial intelligence containing expert knowledge on CFD and fire modelling.

• e.g. SMARTFIRE introduced to a group of firemen, consultants and building control officers who had no prior experience of FFM.

• After 60 minute intro to SMARTFIRE, group were able to construct a room fire scenario within 15 minutes and run it successfully to convergence.
