If you have been to the Peninsula in North Greenwich and encountered the driverless pods then we invite you to take part in this short survey. We want to learn about your experiences with these vehicles – whether as a passenger, pedestrian or cyclist.
The following questions should only take around 5 minutes of your time, and will focus on issues related to the safety and behaviours of these vehicles and other road users. Data will be collected in anonymous form and stored securely to be used for research purposes only. The University of Greenwich will be responsible for the analysis of this survey data as part of their role in GATEway – a project, led by TRL, to understand the challenges of implementing driverless vehicles in an urban environment.
By clicking the ‘NEXT’ button, we will assume that you are (a) an adult, (b) satisfied that you have received sufficient information, (c) understand that your data may be used in further research in anonymous form, and (d) agree to take part in this survey.
NB. You may withdraw at any time, without needing to say why, by clicking the button on the screen to exit the survey. If you have any difficulties, please contact the research team (Email: L.Hulse@greenwich.ac.uk or H.Xie@greenwich.ac.uk). For all other queries, contact the Director of FSEG at the University of Greenwich, Professor Ed Galea (Email: E.R.Galea@greenwich.ac.uk; Tel: +44 (0)208 331 8730).
