Setting up a SMARTFIRE
Scenario has never been easier because there are two
distinct tools to support the specification of the
geometry. The following diagram indicates how the
various SMARTFIRE components are
typically used and the starting points for different
types of "scenario information" or required modes of
interaction.
The SMARTFIRE Scenario Designer allows 2D CAD floor plan diagrams to be imported in order to create a building geometry. The existing SMARTFIRE Case Specification Environment (CSE) has been enhanced with new features and additional objects making it even easier to model your real-world scenario more accurately. The CSE also supports compound objects so that collections of objects can be cloned and moved. The interactive Meshing System is built into the CSE. It provides Knowledge Based System supported automated meshing and manual interactive meshing for both novices and experts.
