SMARTFIRE SCENARIO DESIGNER

The SMARTFIRE Scenario Designer provides a CAD-like interface for the specification of whole building geometries. The user can work on layers of the building using a 2D design area which overlays a floor plan diagram layer that can be imported from a CAD DXF floor plan diagram. The Scenario Designer also incorporates a room location utility to help find the "rooms" within the floor plan. Other objects can be added to the building plan to create a scenario. Once the scenario is complete, a SMARTFIRE model file is created which is then passed to the SMARTFIRE Case Specification Environment for advanced configuration (e.g. physics options, transient effects, detailed object configuration) and meshing.
